Our refund commitment

We want every patient to feel confident trying MetaCura. This Refund Policy explains how to request a refund, when refunds apply, and how we handle subscriptions, trials, and partial periods.

The Free plan never charges, so refunds only apply to paid plans (Premium and Care Team).

14-day Premium trial

Premium starts with a 14-day trial, full access to every module, no charge. You can cancel anytime within the trial and you will not be billed. No refund needed.

  • Cancel from Settings → Billing → Cancel trial.
  • Your record stays accessible after cancellation; you simply revert to the Free plan.

Monthly Premium refunds

If you're unhappy with Premium for any reason, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first paid month. Email billing@metacura.ai within 30 days of your first charge for a full refund.

For subsequent months, we provide pro-rated refunds for unused time when there is a documented service disruption or billing error.

Annual Premium refunds

Annual plans are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, refunds are pro-rated based on unused months, for example, cancelling after 4 months yields an 8-month refund (less any applied discount).

Care Team plan refunds

Care Team plans (for clinics, providers, and health systems) are governed by the terms of your contract or Order Form. Generally:

  • Refunds within the first 30 days of activation are issued as pro-rated credits.
  • Cancellation outside the first 30 days follows the term outlined in your contract.
  • For BAA-related compliance refunds, contact your dedicated success manager.

How to request a refund

Submitting a refund request is straightforward:

  • Email billing@metacura.ai with your account email and the reason.
  • We typically respond within one business day.
  • Approved refunds appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

You can also start a refund request from Settings → Billing → Request refund.

What isn't refundable

The following are generally not eligible for refund:

  • Subscriptions cancelled after the 30-day window for the relevant period.
  • Charges resulting from violation of our Terms of Service (fraudulent use, abuse, etc.).
  • Third-party fees from labs, imaging centers, or pharmacies that are not collected by MetaCura.

If you believe an exclusion has been applied incorrectly, please reach out, we review every appeal individually.

Your record after a refund

A refund does not delete your clinical record. If you choose, we will:

  • Export your full record in , PDF, or CSV format before deactivating Premium features.
  • Move you to the Free plan automatically, your record stays accessible.
  • Or delete your account entirely upon written request, retaining only data required by clinical regulation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy as our pricing evolves. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email. Refunds processed before any change take place under the policy in effect at the time of your purchase.
