Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using MetaCura (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
These Terms apply to metacura.ai, the MetaCura mobile and web applications, and any associated APIs or integrations.
02 · Section
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an individual MetaCura account. Users under 18 require authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Pediatric records may be managed on behalf of minors by an authorized guardian.
Healthcare professionals using MetaCura on behalf of patients must do so under a valid Business Associate Agreement and applicable healthcare regulations.
03 · Section
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. MetaCura uses industry-standard authentication (multi-factor authentication where available) and we strongly recommend enabling it.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage from unauthorized account use beyond our reasonable security controls.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or AI models behind the Services.
- Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Services.
- Submit false clinical information, impersonate a clinician, or upload records you are not authorized to access.
- Use the Services to deliver clinical care to others without proper licensure and a Business Associate Agreement.

Clinical disclaimer
MetaCura is a personal health intelligence platform. The Services do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. AI-derived insights are for patient education and care navigation. They are not a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
06 · Section
Intellectual property
MetaCura and all underlying software, AI models, designs, and trademarks are owned by MetaCura or its licensors. You retain full ownership of your clinical records and any content you upload.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your personal health management. This license terminates if you violate these Terms.

Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from settings, your full clinical record will be exported automatically before deactivation.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with prior notice except in cases involving security threats, legal obligations, or fraudulent activity.
08 · Section
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaCura disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
09 · Section
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaCura is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
10 · Section
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of San Francisco County, California.
11 · Section
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email and in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
